Thank you cato for your sincere comments! This "patronising" will be surely checked. It is more excess enthusiasm that crosses the limits unconsciously! Let us thank you for actively participating on our site!
Wonderful site ! The meticulous and organized layout reflects on the love and passion for short verse and the enthusiasm to share information and knowledge on the subject. Great work !!
Thank you for sharing .
_By viewing, I wonder why there are so few comments left; the negative, the positive and the critical... are all, in their measure, constructive. [01/14/08: [members log, refer to page 2]
_Narayanan, your good site will continue to grow... and grow well, I expect._M
Dear Narayanan,
Indeed there are few comments but the private contacts with a few haiku writers is warm and constructive (hello John). Indeed a great haiku site.

dear narayanan,
did i not sign in correctly? i know i'm new, but if my amaturish try at haiku is that bad i need to know. i love this site, the poets are multi-talented. i am but a dust mite in this big old established barn. i was depressed before i met geert verbeke--he put the fun back in beginning haiku for me and led me to this arena.
thanks for the site.

It is indeed my fortune that I have found in this site. The understated elegance of its content and the graciousness of the hosts is indeed marvellous.
I would love everyone to donate an important word.
"I'm going to be one of those people on Anthony Gormley's Fourth Plinth 'living statues event' at Trafalgar Square, London, on Monday 27th July from 4pm - 5pm.
I'd like as many people as possible to send me "important words" and I will read out as many as I can during my hour on the plinth.
What's important to you that can be summed up in just one single word?
.
Is it a word that's important to the world, or is it something personal like someone's name?
All of your important words are welcome whoever you are. You can give a reason why the word is important to you, but you don't have to. You can include your name, or remain anonymous.
Email your important words to: importantword@withwords.org.uk by 4pm Monday 27th July, or give them to myself or my wife in Trafalgar Square between noon and four o'clock - we'll be the ones collecting important words.
All the words will be "scrapbooked" afterwards for posterity.
