Haijin William J. Higginson passed away on 11th October 2008

News has been received that William J. Higginson passed away on Saturday 11th October 2008.  William Higginson was a distinguished  haijin and phenomenal Haiku scholar best known as the author of the classic learner's haiku book (highly recommended), "The Haiku Handbook: How to Write, Share and Teach Haiku".  You may read more about the life and legacy of this great haijin and teacher of haiku at:
